People don't consider fish "cute" or "cuddly" so when a species of fish is in trouble it often goes under the radar. The Silver perch is one of those fish with it's current ICUN redlist status as Near Threatened conservation efforts are in place to try and increase numbers along with many other species that live in the same habitat.
So many scales to draw in this detailed little work.
This work is drawn on Fabriano paper mounted on a birch wooden panel and varnished so no need for glass. It is framed and ready to hang.
