"A call to arms" Limited edition print

A$225.00

As Australia burned early in 2020 I felt an enormous feeling of loss, so much frustration and anger as the situation unfolded. As an artist that specialises in wildlife art, the impact on the Australian animals really hit home. I watched as wildlife rescue teams worked day and night to save our iconic species.

But through the devastation and loss of life, the thing that shone out of the smoke was the amazing Australian spirit of helping out a mate. To get through this event we needed each other.

"A Call To Arms" talks about this idea of mateship during times of loss. Our coat of arms animals the kangaroo and emu help out a koala.

The original of this work was auctioned to raise money for wildlife relief during the bushfires. Art reproduction prints of this work are available in a limited edition of 30 on rag paper - unframed.

Paper size = 50cm x 50cm with a 5 cm border
